When he’s not cooking eggs for a homeless breakfast program, speaking at parishes on the weekend, or spearheading Anglicare Victoria’s Pride group, Peter Burt oversees the development and execution of the organisation’s gifts in wills program.

He has done this with “passion, dedication and creativity,” says Anglicare Victoria’s Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing, Kirsty Simpson. Under his stewardship, the number of confirmed gifts in wills has grown five-fold to 188. 

Over the past seven years Peter has created a thriving donor circle to acknowledge the generosity of significant supporters, established a successful ambassador program, hosted popular information seminars with local lawyers, developed innovative communications that resonate with faith-based donors, used traditional channels such as direct mail and telemarketing to continually refresh and grow the pipeline, and raised Anglicare Victoria’s online presence via a complete content overhaul (including an ongoing program of video promotions).
