Find out how a 12-year-old peer-to-peer fundraising campaign grew its fundraising by 150%. This and more at EventRaise 2020.

peer-to-peer fundraising campaignRegistrations are now open for EventRaise in 2020, with the conference featuring a host of sessions to help charities raise more from their online peer-to-peer (P2P) events.

EventRaise is the only conference in Australia with a dedicated focus on fundraising events, including P2P.

In 2020, it will be held across two days beginning Wednesday 11 March. The theme is “inspiration, best practice & case studies to help you raise more from your fundraising events”.

A key highlight will be a case study presented by the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre’s (ASRC) Fundraising Manager, Alan White, and Fundraising Co-ordinator, Maria Quigley.

White and Quigley will reveal the evidence-based approach they used for the launch of ASRC’s new Feast4Freedom campaign in 2019. In the session, the pair will detail the research that guided the P2P event’s launch on a test-and-learn budget.

They will run through how they ensured the new campaign would deliver on key strategic goals, while meeting the needs of (old and new) supporters.

Another case study at EventRaise will take a look inside the reinvention of the iconic Dry July campaign.

Dry July Foundation’s Katie Evans will walk through the data analytics, testing and reporting her organisation used to reposition this mature P2P event.

As a result of these efforts, the 12-year-old campaign grew its fundraising by 150% over the past two years. Amazingly, it raised a record $10 million in 2019.

Justine Curtis, the Founder and CEO of Inspired Adventures, will share her secrets to maximising P2P event income through Facebook.

Curtis’ session will include three case studies from nonprofits that have achieved impressive results with relatively small budgets.

Gavin Coopey, Director, More Strategic, will premiere the results of new P2P research from Blackbaud, Everyday Hero and More Strategic.

Coopey will reveal what makes a P2P event successful, using data compiled from organisations in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

A generous super-earlybird discount of up to $769 is available to paid F&P subscribers who register for EventRaise before 28 November.
