Grant: Active Gameday Projects

Areas of support: Work collaboratively with the Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport, to deliver ‘field of play’ infrastructure projects that enhance participation opportunities at the local community level. The initiative will help the sport and active recreation industry on the road to recovery by investing in smaller scale infrastructure projects that benefit local communities. Supports field of play participation-enhancing works, that meet local community level playing requirements under two project types: Project Type 1 – install or upgrade of sports lights; Project Type 2 – develop or upgrade of playing surfaces/space(s) including irrigation.
Application deadline: 05 November 2021
Grant value: $50,000 up to a maximum of $150,000

Grant: Mercy Foundation Grants to End Homelessness

Areas of support: Projects that focus on ending and preventing women’s homelessness especially chronic homelessness are currently priority areas for funding. Chronic homelessness is defined as an episode of homelessness lasting 6 months or longer or multiple episodes of homelessness over a 12 month period or more.
Application deadline:  08 November 2021 (EOI)
Grant value:  Up to $50,000; grants will likely average $20,000 – $30,000.

Grant: Safe and Diverse Communities Grants

Areas of support: The purpose of this program is to support small, targeted, community-led projects to increase the capability of multicultural communities to recognise, respond and prevent sexual, domestic and family violence across Queensland. The grants program aims to create meaningful partnerships and engagement with people from diverse backgrounds to take proactive steps in improving women’s safety, and through awareness and prevention initiatives to address sexual, domestic and family violence.
Application deadline: 12 November 2021
Grant value:  $10,000 to $25,000.

Grant: NSW Women’s Week Grants 2022

Areas of support: To hold events and activities that celebrate women during NSW Women’s Week, 7-13 March 2022. Events must promote at least one of the three priorities of the NSW Women’s Strategy 2018-2022: women’s economic opportunity and advancement; health and wellbeing; participation and empowerment.
Application deadline: 15 November 2021
Grant value: $3,000 to $5,000

Grant: Strong and Resilient Communities (SARC) Activity – Inclusive

Communities GrantsAreas of support: These Grants aim to support vulnerable and disadvantaged people to participate socially and economically through local community-driven solutions that build self-reliance and empowerment. The Grants will focus on supporting people of working age (15-64 years) in geographic areas of high socio-economic disadvantage across all states and territories. This includes addressing barriers to participating in community activities, reducing social isolation, developing soft skills and promoting social and economic participation through funding projects that support: the development of young people aged 12-18 who are, or are at risk of, disengagement, marginalisation and having limited engagement with education/training; people with disabilities and/or mental health issues to participate in their community, and become/remain independent and engaged; vulnerable women who are, or at risk of, isolation or discrimination to participate in their community and increase their sense of self agency and empowerment; people who are unemployed to address individual barriers to employment and increase their capacity to engage with existing employment/training services and/or work towards gaining employment.
Application deadline: 15 November 2021
Grant value: The maximum grant amount is $360,000 (GST exclusive) for a 2-year project. Projects will have a funding cap of $180,000 (GST exclusive) per year.

Grant: ACT Youth Week Grant 2022

Areas of support: Funding for innovative new projects to young people aged 12-25 years old to lead and participate in community development activities targeting other young people in Canberra and the region. Grants are one-off for projects held during ACT Youth Week. Applications must meet one or more of the following criteria: encourages a range of young people to get involved in their local community and increases their personal and professional development; provides safe, smoke, alcohol and drug free entertainment and recreational opportunities for young people in the ACT; involves young people at all levels of organisation and management; is supported by and involves the local community; is led by young people, when an activity/event/project is supported by an agency/organisation. The 2022 ACT Youth Week will be held from Monday 4 April 2022 to Thursday 14 April 2022.
Application deadline: 22 November 2021

Areas of support: Funding for organisations committed to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and/or queer and gender diverse (LGBTIQ) communities. Aurora provides grants to both specific LGBTIQ organisations and to generalist organisations seeking funding for projects specifically targeting and supporting LGBTIQ people. In particular they are interested in projects that have a focus on supporting LGBTIQ youth, older, culturally and linguistically diverse communities and those from rural and remote NSW.Z

Grant: Perpetual Trustees 2022 IMPACT Philanthropy Application Program

Areas of support: Perpetual’s IMPACT Philanthropy Program distributes to all sectors including social welfare, health, medical and health research, conservation and environment, education, arts and culture and animal welfare. Funding is provided for a wide range of developmental stages, including (but not limited to) pilot and existing projects, capacity building and support for early career researchers. Submissions will be assessed against the following criteria: Strategy, Outcomes, Capability, and Leadership. Funding is generally provided as a single year, one-off grant.
Application deadline: 3 December 2021
Grant value: Maximum request is $120,000, though grants are generally between $10,000 and $100,000, with the average grant being $75,000 in recent years
