Grant:  Gambling Community Benefit Fund Round 114

Areas of support: Provides funding to community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Queensland to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities. Funding applications are prioritised in the following order (with 1 being highest priority): (1) Items/facilities directly affected, damaged or destroyed by a declared natural disaster in the last 2 years; (2) Equipment or facility improvements; (3) Vehicles; (4) Community events, training, workshops, festivals, publications and website development; (5) Organisations that have received more than $15,000 from the GCBF over the past 2 years.

Grant:  Koala Critical Habitat Protection Community Grants – Round 1

Areas of support: Funding for community projects that support the recovery and protection of the koala. Your project must: include on-ground project activities that are undertaken in areas where the Koala is known or likely to occur (with the exception of ex-situ healthcare facilities and treatment). You may wish to review the Koala’s location via the protected matters search tool; include activities that will benefit the listed Koala combined populations of Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory; have identified that the Koala (combined populations of QLD, NSW and the ACT) will benefit from your project activities.

Areas of support: Danks Trust provides grants to charitable organisations or projects that fit the categories of religion, education and/or the relief of poverty. The Annie Danks Trust provides funding to any charitable cause as per the Trust guidelines. Areas of interest include: aged care; poverty relief; community development; conservation and environment; child and youth development; rural/regional communities; family; multicultural; animal welfare; education/advancement; arts/culture; indigenous people; disability support; health services; religion.

Grant:  Harcourts Foundation Grants Round 54

Areas of support: Harcourts Foundation has a clear focus on providing grants to reputable community-based organisations which need funding for projects and initiatives designed to benefit as many people as possible. We will prioritise applications that demonstrate that their grant will have the widest community impact. Priority is also given to those areas where the Harcourts office is currently a financial contributor to The Harcourts Foundation.
