Grant:Mental Health Month Reimbursement Grants Program 

Areas of support: Provides funding to help local ACT groups and organisations host a mental health focused event during the month of October 2021. Events should seek to maximise the wellbeing of individuals and the wider community and promote positive mental health. Events will need to comply with any social distancing measures in place in the ACT in October 2021. 

Application deadline: 18 June 2021

Areas of support: Support for community-driven projects that enhance community wellbeing, increase workforce engagement, and develop community infrastructure.

Grant:Department of Human Services Victoria – Men’s Sheds Grants EOI 2021 

Areas of support: Funding for: construction of a new men’s shed; OR replacement, extension or refurbishment of an existing men’s shed.

Grant:OBrien Real Estate Foundation Grants 

Areas of support: The OBrien Real Estate Foundation aims to fund specific projects in the following areas: education; community sporting activities; community support groups; medical research and support groups; innovative projects from local community organisations.

Grant value: Preferred amounts of up to $5,000.

Grant:Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund – Supporting the Most Vulnerable 

Areas of support: The program aims to help organisations which provide support to people experiencing financial hardship as a result of COVID-19 to meet their immediate basic needs and to support prevention and early intervention programs that address the longer term impacts and social and economic consequences of the pandemic 

Application deadline: 30 June 2021 

Grant value: Minimum $3,000. Up to $15,000 for unincorporated groups however no specified limit for incorporated groups.

Areas of support: Small Grants help community legal organisations and not-for-profit community groups undertake projects that support local community needs and improve understanding of the justice system.

Grant value: Up to $5,000

Grant:Hand Heart Pocket – Significant and Flagship Grants – Round 1 2021-22 

Areas of support: The majority of the larger grants focus on helping to improve outcomes for youth at risk (primarily aged 15-24 years), by helping young people to: Find a stable home; Build a support network; Contribute to the community; Seek help when needed; Gain an education and skills for the future; Find stable paid or volunteer work. 

Application deadline: 30 June 2021 

Grant value: Significant: up to $500,000. Flagship: over $500,000

Areas of support: Health Smart Grants support registered charities in Australia or New Zealand that specialise in health promotion and primary prevention, and have a track record of engaging and empowering people to be health smart in their everyday lives.

Grant value: $40,000
