Grant:  Youngcare At Home Care Grants – National Round 1 2022

Areas of support: The Youngcare AHCG’s assist young people (aged 16-65) with high care needs who are living at home and who are at risk of entering inappropriate housing. The program provides one-off grants of up to $10,000 for equipment, home modifications and essential support/respite that is unable to be funded through other means (eg. NDIS).

Grant:  Fay Fuller Discovery Fund EOI

Areas of support: Discovery Grants are a two-year grant to support you or your organisation to test an idea that supports better mental health and wellbeing with community to learn what works, what doesn’t and how it could be scalable, self-making, or sustainable.

Grant value: $120,000 per annum

Grant:  Besen Family Foundation – Round 2, 2021/2022 – Arts and Culture

Areas of support: Arts and Culture grants aim to nurture the creative talents of Victorians, and support projects in Theatre, Dance, Music and Visual Arts. There is a focus on: innovation, education, audience development, the arts as a vehicle for building a sense of community, extension of cultural opportunities to regional centres; community cultural development.

Grant:  Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation Grants

Areas of support: Applications for basic science projects, clinical studies or community-based studies in any area of research relevant to children’s health, education and welfare are considered. The Foundation particularly encourages applications in its research priority areas of: Improving fetal development, including preventing pre-term birth; Improving systems of care and education for children; Supporting young minds and improving children’s mental health; Tackling chronic illness and disability. Application deadline: Expressions of interest open 21 February
Grant value: Up to $100,000 for research, completed over 1 or 2 years. Early Career Grants up to $40,000 are available.

Grant:  Gambling Community Benefit Fund Round 113 – Super Round

Areas of support: Provides funding to community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Queensland to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities. Funding applications are prioritised in the following order (with 1 being highest priority): (1) Items/facilities directly affected, damaged or destroyed by a declared natural disaster in the last 2 years; (2) Equipment or facility improvements; (3) Vehicles; (4) Community events, training, workshops, festivals, publications and website development; (5) Organisations that have received more than $15,000 from the GCBF over the past 2 years.

Grant:  Mazda Foundation Australia

Areas of support: The Foundation periodically identifies priority areas of focus. The Foundation currently has three priority areas of focus being: Community based organisations with projects supporting primary producers facing hardship; programs addressing literacy and numeracy issues among primary school aged children, especially remedial programs for children from disadvantaged areas; medical research to benefit the Australian community.

Grant value: Grants have ranged up to $125,000 in the past, but the majority are under $50,000

Areas of support: The Foundation considers applications for any project or program that demonstrates a benefit to our local community, with a particular focus on youth, education and alleviating disadvantage.

Grant:  Woen and Leadership Australia: Supporting Leadership Development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women

Areas of support: The purpose of the grants is to ensure the views of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are represented at the events and help support the development of strong and effective leadership across Australia’s indigenous communities.

Application deadline:  Applications close 6 weeks prior to each state event. Event dates are: Canberra Friday 13th May 2022; Brisbane Thursday 23rd June 2022; Sydney 2nd September 2022; Friday 16th September 2022.

Grant:  The Ian Potter Foundation Fair – Community Wellbeing Round 2, 2022 (EOI)

Areas of support: The Community Wellbeing program area seeks to identify and support those organisations which have well thought out projects that seek to help vulnerable members of the community to overcome the challenging circumstances in which they find themselves. To improve circumstances for vulnerable members of the community, this program area supports organisations that seek to establish pathways for vulnerable individuals such as: creating employment pathways for people with disabilities or otherwise vulnerable individuals; assisting individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness and all that goes with it.

Application deadline:  Expressions of interest due 7 April 2022
Grant value: Only considers grant applications in excess of $100,000

Grant:  The EastWeb Fund Grants 2022 Round 2

Areas of support: Projects within Victoria working with Indigenous, Asylum Seeker or Refugee communities in the areas of: health care; employment; education; and cultural heritage promotion and maintenance. Looks to fund whole start-up projects that build the capacity of communities to create long term strategies for change. Also provides assistance with sourcing in-kind support and volunteers.

Application deadline:  29 April 2022
Grant value: $2,000-$5,000
