The Fundraising Forum now helps you gain CFRE points.

Fundraisers at the 2019 Fundraising Forum are set to gain an additional benefit from going to the conference this year, with the iconic conference now counting towards delegates’ CFRE Continuing Education points.

Founded in 2001, CFRE International is an independent nonprofit organisation that aims to improve standards in the nonprofit sector through its Continuing Education Program, which provides a valid and reliable certification process for fundraising professionals.

A landmark event on the Australian fundraising industry calendar, the Fundraising Forum brings together the leading thinking, practice and evidence to help fundraisers (and their organisations) a more progressive fundraising program.

With the conference now just a week away, fundraisers who have left their registrations to the last minute are being urged to act now to avoid missing out.

The presenters include Harvey McKinnon, the president of Harvey McKinnon Associates, who is widely recognised as one of North America’s top fundraising experts and a world leader in best practice regular giving. He is the author of four acclaimed books and is the co-author of the #1 international best-seller The Power of Giving: How Giving Back Enriches Us All.

Along with a half-day masterclass on regular giving, McKinnon will reveal the secrets of applying lessons from advocacy fundraising to all causes, plus a session examining the 11 questions every donor asks and the answers they crave.

Joining McKinnon as a presenter at the Fundraising Forum is Jeff Brooks, who has been described by legendary communications expert Tom Ahern as “America’s top fundraising copywriter”.

Brooks will host a masterclass where he will share his insights into crafting irresistible donor communications. He’ll also share his insights into how fundraisers can boost their appeals by 15% to 50% through matched giving, as well as how to create donor newsletters that generate revenue and retention.

As well as thought leadership from local and international fundraising experts, the Fundraising Forum include case studies from a host of leading nonprofit organisations including the Australian Conservation Foundation, Anglicare WA, The Smith Family, Environment Victoria, Australia for UNHCR, The Fred Hollows Foundation, Médecins Sans Frontières Australia, the Australian Red Cross, Plan International, The Wilderness Society, Life Flight NZ and International Fund for Animal Welfare.

The Fundraising Forum will be held at Sydney’s Sofitel Wentworth on 21-23 August, with a discounted registration price on offer for F&P subscribers.
