It costs as little as $300 to give a girl access to education for one whole year in Sierra Leone. The power of education, however, continues right throughout a woman’s life. The organisation predicts that every extra year of education a girl receives increases her income by 10-20% and she will invest 90% of this back into her family.

Every August to October, thousands of Australians put on their school dresses and change lives. Last year One Girl’s supporters raised over $700,000.
