New app makes eating out affordable and charitable

A new Australian app is set to challenge the traditional notion that eating out is always  the more expensive option.

A new Australian app, Liven, aims to revolutionise the dining out experience by offering a way for customers to both earn money for themselves and donate to charity. Whenever you eat out at a partnered restaurant you earn credit and can easily donate to charity for free through the app.

newThe app currently works with over 500 restaurants in Melbourne and Sydney, with plans to expand further into Perth and the US. Liven has also secured partnerships with top charities like the RSPCA, Breast Cancer Foundation, Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation and beyondblue, among others.

The app is free to download and allows users to pay on their phone similarly to how they would use other apps such as Uber. Grace Wong, Liven Co-Founder, said, “Australians love a great meal out with their family and friends. So why not get more value from these experiences? Liven combines the best of both worlds – being rewarded for doing things you already love and a new way to contribute to life-changing charity work.”

The app can be downloaded on the Google Play Store and App Store. To find out more visit liven.com.au. If you’re interested for your charity to partner with Liven visit liven.com.au/charity.
