It highlights key findings from the largest population of giving Australians – everyday Australian givers and volunteers – and is based on the meaty Individual Giving and Volunteering report.

This study draws on:

• a review of previous research captured in the Giving Australia 2016 Literature Review (busy change-makers might enjoy the summary version on 19 giving topics!)
• 31 interviews and 25 focus groups regarding giving and volunteering in Australia
• a representative telephone survey of 6,201 adult Australians, stratified by age and gender across all states and territories.
